NeSSA is honored to serve our members. Some of NeSSA's highlights from 2024 include:
- Brought in the New Hampshire and Maine Self Storage Associations to co-host the largest Northeast Storage EXPO to date with a sold-out tradeshow hall, numerous educational sessions, a social event, and a lot of networking and relationship-building
- Promoted working to amend the Massachusetts lien law and continue legislative efforts in Rhode Island
- Monitor and speak out against local self storage moratoriums
- Utilized our new website to find additional ways to enhance the user experience and add more resources to our memberships
- Continue to be an on-demand resource for new and existing members with answers, referrals, and advice
- Held another record-breaking Fall Retreat with high value speakers who focused on topics from legal and legislative to management and revenue building
- Added new member benefits through a collaboration with Inside Self-Storage
- Continued our webinar series for those who rely on virtual education
- Awarded $5,000 amongst two deserving academic scholarship recipients
- Plus the maintenance of our existing resources such as our quarterly newsletter, Member Discount Program, MSM Messenger, and more
