Important Updates to Your 2027 Membership Renewal
Memberships Expire January 1st
Current memberships with the Northeast Self Storage Association will expire on January 1, 2027.
IMPORTANT UPDATE! The board voted at our last meeting to update NeSSA's facility member dues structure, which will go into effect for 2027. Facility member dues are now a tiered dues structure, meaning that instead of $300 for your first location and $75 for each additional location, there are now flat rates determined by your total number of facilities across Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. This will not cause an increase to your budgets. In fact, your dues will either remain the same or decrease. The rates are as follows:
| 1 Facility: $300 |
2-5 Facilities: $375 |
| 6-10 Facilities: $675 |
11-15 Facilities: $1,000 |
| 16+ Facilities: $1,500 |
Vendor dues remain the same |

With no changes to their dues, vendors and annual sponsors are welcome to renew now. Please note that although the price hasn't change, annual sponsors are now receiving TWO MORE BENEFITS!
NeSSA is honored to serve our members. Some of NeSSA's highlights from 2026 include:
- Successfully finalized our merger with New Hampshire and integrated the state and its members into NeSSA
- Added more legal resources for both New Hampshire and our existing state members
- Premiered a New Hampshire-based Summer Social with Cruise & Connect on beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee
- Brought in the Maine Self Storage Association to co-host another Northeast Storage EXPO that featured another sold-out tradeshow hall, numerous educational sessions, a social event, and a lot of networking and relationship-building
- Monitored individual state legislative needs
- Continue to be an on-demand resource for new and existing members with answers, referrals, and advice
- Held another Fall Retreat with high value topics presented by knowledgeable speakers, in-depth focus group discussions, and a priority to connect
- Maintained our webinar series for those who rely on virtual education
- Awarded $7,500 amongst six deserving academic scholarship recipients
- Plus the maintenance of our existing resources such as our quarterly newsletter, Member Discount Program, Inside Self-Storage collaboration, MSM Messenger, and more
Dues are an important part in helping NeSSA maintain a healthy financial position so we can continue to provide the same level of resources, education, and support our members deserve.
